" The film's insperied by what happened to me one night when I went out with my boyfriend, I was 19, "Deepika told us. She and her boyfriend had gone for a weekend to a house in the outskirts of Delhi. "The area was very dart. Somehow, I got a lot of negatives vibes in that place. But then you are with a person you trus, you know how it is. I did not pay attention. But I was very unconfortable throughout the whole night. All along, I felt somebody was watching us. said she.
After the night, Deepika was shocked to see the laptop they carried switched on, Her boyfriend has recorded the passionate unterlude. "I was with him for five month already. He suggested we go to this place his friend owned. It was our first night out." she explained.
She adds, "Wahaan zarror koi paranoramal activity ho rahi thi. It was very eerie." now no more with the guy she went out with, Deepika quipped. "I never met him after that incident."
When Ekta Kapoot was toying with the idea making a film on MMS scandals, Deepika's friend, who works at Balaji, asked Ekta if she would like to meet a girl who went through a real life MMS incident. Ekta met Deepika and incorportaed her story in "Ragini MMS".
