Bipasha basu- sexy, svelte and svvy

MUMBAI: The very sexy, the very svelte and the very savvy Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has bagged two plum endorsements: that of the India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW) and the India Fashion Awards (IFA).

Spotted at the announcement ceremony, Bipasha looked incredibly stylish and sexy in a stunning Rocky S creation: a dress which had a nude embellished top and a high waisted skirt, flowing outwards.

Bipasha’s hair and makeup made us wonder if she was completely into the ‘Aatma’ mode: for the lady’s style statement was, well, very other-worldly. Hair with extended curls and oversized puffs, while her makeup was dark and sinister, just as her upcoming film ‘Aatma’ promises to be.

Indian designer Rocky S and E-Sense Entertainment Global Head Amit Patel have joined forces to usher in revolutionary changes in resort fashion wear for Indian consumers, and thus the IRFW is the perfect event to showcase their innovations. Bipasha being chosen brand ambassador for the same is only the cherry on the cake, which will most certainly lead to wider global and domestic exposure.

Also seen at the announcement ceremony was Rocky S, in a sharp steel grey suit and oversized reading glasses, redefining geek chic for men. Amit Patel was spotted sporting a white shirt, grey blazer and blue denims.

Priyanka Chopra upset..!!

Actress Priyanka Chopra, whose performance in Barfi! was appreciated by the audience, is upset that the film did not get a single National award. 

The winners of the 60th National Film Awards were announced on Monday. 

"I am feeling bad that Barfi! did not win National Award. But then it is up to the jury why they did not give the award," Priyanka told reporters here at the launch of her first item song Babli Badmaash.

Barfi! was a love story between a speech and hearing impaired boy, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and an autistic girl, played by Priyanka. 

Though the movie did not win a National Award, Priyanka is happy for her cousin Parineeti won a special mention for her performance in Ishaqzaade.

"I am happy for her. Now in the Chopra family, there are two National Awards. The whole day, I had to explain what special mention means," said Priyanka.
