Through the years, the pageant has been responsible for discovering some of the most talented, successful and strong women who have made India proud on national and international forums all these decades.

After the 12 city auditions and 7 city pageants, the final round of auditions was held at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, where 23 beautiful girls were selected as the finalists for the grand finale for the journey of their lifetime.
Keeping in mind the six pillars of wellness- feel well, eat well, sleep well, move well, work well and play well, the hotel ensured the girls had a pleasant, relaxing and fun environment at the hotel.

As the Miss India team trained, polished and prepared the girls for the big day, the hotel associates and services team provided a relaxing and rejuvenating experience through the entire length of their stay.

Speaking about the association with the pageant, Anuraag Bhatnagar, Area General Manager for Westin Hotels (Mumbai and Pune), said, "This the first time that we have associated with the pageant and this being the 50th year of Miss India, that makes the association all the more special. All these girls have come from across India, leaving their home and family behind to pursue their dream. As the hospitality partner for the pageant, it was our responsibility to provide a vibrant, uplifting and inspiring space to enable them to quietly energise and reach their highest potential, delivering our brand promise to ensure the girls left feeling better than when they first arrived."

After a show at Yashraj Studios in the city, which was filled with glitz and glamour, the three beautiful girls — Pond's Femina Miss India World 2013, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Pond's Femina Miss India first runner-up Sobhita Dhulipala and Pond's Femina Miss India second runner-up Zoya Afroz were crowned.
