Ritu Kumar Received PADMA Award from The President

Designer Ritu Kumar. the first ever Indian clothing designer was awarded the PADMA AWARD by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee last night at a function at Rashtrapati Bhawan bright.

Actor Rajesh Khanna received the Padma Bhusan award posthumously, which was received by Dimple Kapadia, while the proud daughters Twinkle Khanna and Rinkie sitting in the crowd applauded. Actor Nana Patekar was also there to receive Padma Shri award from the President.

The Prime Minister of India - Manmohan Singh, his wife Gursharan Kaur and Congress President Sonia Gandhi also appeared on occasion. Sonia Gandhi was seen in conversation with Lt. Governor Tejinder Khanna. There is no doubt that you should be talking about the rape of the girl henous 5 years old "Laadli 'and how to deal with this monster called' Rape '.
