The 23-year-old singer and actress was distressed as her beloved Chihuahua, Lola, fell ill with seizures, reported Daily Star.She shared her stressful situation with fans on Twitter, writing, "Hi, Please say prayers for my little pup Lola! She is having seizure over and over and I am basically having a nervous break down."
Duff received a slew of encouraging messages, including a post from her ''High School Musical'' star friend Ashley Tisdale, who tweeted, "Sending positive vibes your way for Lola!"
The ''Lizzie McGuire'' star later returned to the social networking site, after she had calmed down, to thank fans for their support.
"Oh I seriously love you guys! Thank you for all the sweet messages. She is on medication now and hopefully it will start to work," she wrote.
