SYDNEY: An Australian RJ jokingly called a London hospital, in a move that had tragic consequences when a nurse committed suicide has been named "Top Jock" by their bosses.
Southern Cross Austereo Employer Michael Christian said Tuesday he was "excited" to crown the DJ, who now works at Fox FM Melbourne morning slot as one of its main presenters.
Christian suffered a global reaction, along with his then co-host Mel Greig, in December, when his prank call to hospital care for pregnant women British Royal Family Prince William ended so badly.

Christian alluded to the facts in his acceptance of prize of a trip to Los Angeles for a study visit.
"From the beginning I felt like I had something to prove to myself," he said in a statement.
"That regardless of everything that has happened in the last few months, I'm still on top of my game. So it felt good to see my name on the top of the final standings."
