Mallika Sherawat, at least get your facts right

Mallika Sherawat Interview with Variety has not won her many popularity points. His views have angered people like Priyanka Chopra, who said he was "very offended" by Sherawat proclaiming that India is "down", especially since Sherawat uses an international platform to air these views. Being a bit pedantic, by nature, I'm more concerned about the inaccuracies Sherawat interview that his lack of patriotic spirit. Just in case anyone thought that the only problematic Sherawat's interview was his accent, here's a look at how the facts go for a toss when attempts to summarize the problems Sherawat in Bollywood. Sherawat All quotes are taken from this interview.

"This is the story of a woman who becomes involved with a politician who was a nurse ...."

Admittedly, this is more of a concern with the grammar of the facts and to see the interview, please imagine pushing us different chapters of Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr. and EB White Sherawat under the nose of every word spoken by Sherawat claws on English does not seem too strong. However, it seems worth noting that upcoming film Dirty Sherawat Policy is not about a woman who becomes involved with a political nurse. Inspired by the real-life case of Bhanwari Devi, a midwife who disappeared in 2011 and the remains of whose body was found in early 2012 finally. She really get involved with a politician (Mahipal Maderna) and threatened to release a CD press the two of them having sex if not paid his crore. Soon after, he disappeared. The husband of Bhanwari Devi Maderna accused of the rape and murder of Bhanwari Devi.

"India is a hypocritical society where women are really at the bottom of society, compared to men ..."

It's not hard, but women are at a disadvantage compared to men in all parts of the world. This is because most of the world - regardless of region, geography, culture and nationality - is patriarchal and patriarchal privileges and empowers men over women.

"... Here was this woman who actually had the courage to face this kind of politician who raped her, abused her, abused her and record their doubts and all, and release it to the press."

First, what does it mean to be "a kind of raped"? Secondly, a person is blackmailing the same as "defending" them? There seems little doubt that Bhanwari Devi was kidnapped and murdered because she has exaggerated his hand when he tried to blackmail Maderna. In addition, a "suspicion" is a doubt or fear about something. It seems unlikely that sex Bhanwari Devi CD had Maderna share their concerns. Finally, Bhanwari Devi which is not released to the press clips. The girlfriend of one of the main suspects in the kidnapping of Bhanwari Devi did this. It is clear that the script of dirty politics does not cling to the facts.

"It's hard for any actor to be in a biopic. Not just physically, what does that look like the character, the best of you, but also mentally what the character was going, thoughts, emotions ..."

Note to her that thinks she is from India Helen Mirren, find out the thoughts and emotions of the characters are the basic requirements of the performance in general. It's not like the fictional characters are beyond the limits of logic and causality. Moreover, considering the filmography of Sherawat, probably does not know from personal experience.

"I was the first Indian actress to kiss on screen and wear a bikini."

No, ma'am, they were not. The credit kiss on the mouth (and record) will Devika Rani, who in 1933 gave a kiss to his hero for four long minutes in the Karma film. The first Indian actress to wear a bikini was Sharmila Tagore in An Evening in Paris (1967). Other famous bearers include vintage bikini Bollywood Zeenat Aman and Dimple Kapadia.

"Instantly, I became a fallen woman and a superstar at a time"

Citing Michael Jackson, you are not alone. While Sherawat is overstating the case when declaring a "superstar", it is true that Sherawat became famous for her surgically enhanced appearance and openness about sexuality. However, Sherawat is one of the many actresses who have tried to take over Bollywood with drive and after a few seconds of fame, which have come to be irrelevant as a competitor oomphier has entered the scene. From Mamta Kulkarni Sunny Leone and Sherlyn Chopra, the list of names is long Sherawat brotherhood.

"I was one of the first actresses to be cast by Jackie Chan in a movie called The Myth ..."

Aside from the fact that being issued by Chan (adorable and fun as it is) does not say much for the actress Sherawat, Chan has acted in nearly 117 films since his debut in 1962. So Sherawat's assertion that she is one of the first actresses to cast that seems a bit dodgy. Sherawat also says that martial arts fantasy film took her to Cannes for the first time and got his international attention. The myth was released in 2005. The 2005 edition of Cannes was Jim Jarmusch films, Wim Wenders, Gus Van Sant, David Cronenberg, Lars von Trier, Michael Haneke and the Dardenne brothers. Just saying.

"I was fortunate enough to make an American movie called Politics of Love ..."

That almost no one has heard and has a rating of 2.6 on IMDb.

"I worked with Jennifer Lynch, who is the daughter of David Lynch ..."

The movie is called Sherawat Hisss and played a female shape-shifting snake who is determined to avenge the death of the love of his life (a snake-man, obviously). Possibly in an effort to keep the feminists happy, this snake woman brutally murdered men who abuse women. On IMDb, the film is described by three labels: drama, horror and comedy. If you search for movie clips on YouTube, you actually get a video of a goose hissing, which just goes to show that sometimes when you think you're baring his fangs like a snake hissing, sees all Internet is an angry goose.
