IIM-Ahmedabad student, author Chetan Bhagat, whose book '2 'States is being adapted into a film, says the film is perhaps the first to be shot on the campus of the prestigious institute.
"Just learned two states is possibly the first Bollywood film ever shot in the IIM-A campus," Bhagat wrote, he felt emotional about putting one foot in high school.
"Shot In IIM-A Students Mess. Being composed. Impossible to describe the feeling. Traveling in class time," he added.
Directed by Abhishek Verman, United 2 is being co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Karan Johar, Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. The film stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
Bhagat last wrote the script of Abhishek Kapoor Kai Po Che!, An adaptation of the book by the author, The 3 mistakes of my life.
Previously, his bestseller One Night @ The Call Center and Five Point Someone became movies Hello (2008) and "3 Idiots" (2009), respectively.
In fact, 3 Idiots was shot in IIM-Bangalore.
